Learn on the Move: Interactive Finance Podcasts Arrive

Capital Academy has added interactive podcasts as a new way to learn. The first episodes now accompany the platform's classes, with many more in production.

Why audio learning

Many finance professionals have little time to sit at a screen. Audio fits into the moments video can't reach: the commute, a walk, the gym or a flight.

Listening to a concept before or after studying it on video also helps it stick. Hearing the same idea explained in a different format reinforces understanding and makes revision easier.

How interactive podcasts work

Each episode is tied to a class topic and follows a conversational, AI-led format. Instead of reading a script aloud, the episode talks through the idea, with examples and questions that keep the listener engaged.

Because every episode maps to a class, learners can move easily between formats. They might listen to an episode on interest rates during the commute, then watch the full video lesson and take the quiz later that day.

Sample topics

Episodes cover the full curriculum, including:

  • How central banks influence financial markets
  • Stocks, bonds, commodities and cryptocurrencies explained
  • The roles of investment banks, hedge funds and brokers
  • Risk management and investor behaviour
  • How fintech and AI are changing investment management

Part of a bigger learning toolkit

Podcasts are the first in a series of new learning formats Capital Academy is adding alongside its cinematic video lessons. More formats will follow, designed to help learners practise and remember what they learn.
