What CAPA does
Until now, Capital Academy's AI expert faculty presented lessons. CAPA turns them into guides that learners can interact with.
A learner can ask an expert to explain a concept again in simpler words, work through an example, or summarise the financial markets in five points. Answers are grounded in the class the learner is studying, so help stays relevant to what they are learning.
Video, call or chat
CAPA works in three ways, so learners can choose what suits the moment:
- Video: a face-to-face conversation with an AI expert, such as Mehmet Yılmaz, The Quant PM.
- Call: a voice conversation, useful on the move.
- Chat: typed questions and answers, ideal at a desk.
Built privately, with clear limits
Most AI products send your questions to an outside AI company for processing. CAPA doesn't. It runs entirely on Capital Academy's own, self-hosted AI, so your questions, your conversations and our course content stay inside Capital Academy.
That design lets Capital Academy make clear commitments to every learner:
- No outside AI provider processes your questions or conversations.
- Your data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never handed to anyone to train their AI.
- Your data is protected, encrypted in transit and at rest, and only enrolled learners can access CAPA.
- You stay in control. You can access, correct, export or delete your data, in line with DIFC data protection law and GDPR principles.
Because Capital Academy owns the system, these protections are built into how CAPA works. They don't depend on another company's terms of service.
Answers you can check
CAPA answers from Capital Academy's own practitioner-written curriculum first. Answers point back to the lesson they came from, so you can check them and go deeper. When the curriculum can't support an answer, CAPA tells you where its answer came from, or says it can't answer, rather than guessing.
Clear limits, honestly stated
- Always labelled as AI. Every expert is clearly marked as an AI and is never presented as a real person.
- Finance education only. CAPA stays within finance topics and politely declines requests outside its scope.
- Education, not advice. CAPA teaches concepts. It does not give personal investment advice.
- People stay in charge. Practitioners write the material CAPA learns from, and Capital Academy's team reviews and corrects it.
Like any AI, CAPA can make mistakes. Every conversation carries a reminder to treat its answers as a study aid.
How to access CAPA
CAPA is offered as an add-on to Capital Academy plans. Details are on the pricing page. It works across all 4,000+ lessons in the library, alongside the platform's seven learning methods.
